What forms of payment do we accept?
We accept checks, all major credit cards, and Care Credit. Payment is required at the time of service.
What kinds of animals do we treat?

At Winchester Pet Care, we provide veterinary services for both cats and dogs.

What should I bring to my pet’s first visit?
Please bring any previous vaccine records you have.
Do you have grooming?

We no longer offer grooming services. Please see our grooming recommendations on our Resources page.

Do I need to make a reservation for boarding?

Yes, please call 913-451-2827 to make the reservation several days prior if possible. For holidays, we fill up very quickly so plan to make a reservation at least a month in advance. If we are booked, we will put you on a wait-list, with our vet clients being given first priority.

Do we give discounts on dentals during Dental Health Month?

We offer a year-round discount on dentals if done within 30 days of it being recommended during your pet’s annual exam.

.My pet is getting surgery today, what should I expect?
Plan to drop your pet off between 7-7:30 on the morning of surgery and pick them up that afternoon before 6 PM. To prevent any nausea from the anesthetic, your pet should not eat any food past 10 PM the night before surgery, nor breakfast the morning of, and allowed limited amounts of water.
You don’t carry the type of flea/tick and/or heartworm prevention that I want, how do I get this?

We offer many other types of prevention on our online pharmacy that can be shipped straight to your home. We would be happy to get this started for you!

I need a refill of my pet’s prescription, What do I do?

Please give us a call at 913-451-2827 several days before you run out so we have plenty of time to fill the prescription. Depending on the medication you need to be refilled, an exam may be required before we can do so.
